Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Tools As Intended exposes a remote MCP server. One connection gives an agent every tool your workspace is entitled to — no per-tool setup, and tools you switch on later appear automatically.
claude mcp add --transport http tools-as-intended https://app.toolsasintended.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer tai_your_key"POST https://app.toolsasintended.com/mcp gives an agent every tool the workspace has: Client Finder (17 tools), Document Signer (5), Onboarding Runner (9), Seiche (3) and, when it is switched on, Social Publishing (8). Tool names are namespaced: client_finder__approve_lead, onboarding_runner__create_run, seiche__get_summary. Tools you switch on later appear without any setup.
The same per-workspace API key authenticates MCP, REST and webhooks. There is no separate MCP credential to manage.
There is no tool by which an agent signs a document, approves a social post, or ticks a checklist step. The boundary is enforced by the platform when the call arrives, not by asking the model nicely.
One webhook registration per workspace covers every tool, with signed deliveries and retries. Or send a client's events to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel with a webhook URL: one line per event, and a weekday morning digest of what is waiting on a person.
Works today with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and any MCP client that supports HTTP transport with a static Authorization header. Claude.ai's connector directory, ChatGPT connectors and Notion Agents require OAuth, which we don't offer yet.
You should not need a complicated new platform just to fix one part of your operation. Tools As Intended products connect with systems small businesses already use, including Notion, Google Workspace, email, calendars, and social platforms.
Each tool solves a defined problem instead of trying to run an entire business.
Workflows are designed around real client work, not software demonstrations.
You retain ownership of your accounts, data, and customer relationships.
Setup, responsibilities, limitations, and ongoing work are explained clearly.
For consultants and service providers
Tools As Intended is developing its products to support white-label delivery. Consultants can bring practical tools to their clients under their own service relationship while we maintain the underlying product.
The reseller program is currently being tested with a small number of consultants. Commercial terms will be documented in a formal reseller agreement before any client deployment.
Apply to test the reseller programChoose whether you are interested as a small business, consultant, or reseller.
We select testers based on the product, workflow, and stage of development.
Testing includes defined access, documentation, feedback expectations, and data safeguards.
Once a product is ready, approved testers may be invited into the paid customer or reseller program.
Tools As Intended is a product line from Work As Intended LLC. We build practical business systems, Notion workspaces, automations, and technology workflows for small businesses.
Our products come from problems we encounter in real consulting work. We develop them carefully, test them with real users, and release them only when responsibilities, security, and support are clear.
Early access
We are inviting a small group of businesses and consultants to test Tools As Intended products. Tell us what you are interested in and we will contact you when there is a suitable testing opportunity.
