Document Signer
Send agreements for signature and get back a certified PDF with a full audit trail. Self-hosted, so documents never leave the platform.
What it does
- Start from text (write or paste the agreement) or upload any PDF or Word file and drag signature, initials, date and text fields onto the pages, assigned per recipient.
- Send to everyone at once, or one after another: each signer is emailed when the previous one has signed, and the document page shows who it is waiting on.
- Add copy recipients who receive the finished document without signing.
- Each signer gets their own single-use link on a clean signing page that shows only the sender and the document.
- Records the typed name, time, consent statement, IP address and browser for every signer, plus a fingerprint (SHA-256) of the document before and after.
- Produces a certified PDF with a certificate page; the audit trail also exports as data.
- Sends in your client's name, or from their own mail server if you connect it.
A person stays in control
Signing is always the recipient's own action on their own link. There is no way for automation or an AI agent to sign a document.
For you as a consultant
Programmatic e-signature at the cost of storage rather than a per-envelope licence, with the API and agent access your larger clients ask for. It is an electronic signature in the ESIGN and simple eIDAS sense: evidence of intent with an audit trail, right for NDAs, statements of work and business agreements.
Works with your systems
Create, upload, place fields, send and check status from the API or MCP server; get a signed webhook or a Slack or Teams message when a document is sent, viewed, signed or completed.
Not yet
- Drawn (finger or mouse) signatures; signatures are typed.
- Automatic reminders for unsigned documents.
- Signing links on your own domain.
- Certificate-based (cryptographic) signatures. If a counterparty demands one, this is not the right tool.
